How do I mark a task as complete?

Writer: James LernerJames Lerner

It always feels great to tick things off the to-do list. We gave you several ways to get that dopamine hit!

From Your Dashboard

Once you're all done with your task, from your Dashboard, click on the task name or click the overflow menu (the three little dots) to the far right of the task row and select Edit from the dropdown menu.

Clicking either of these will open the task details pop-up where you can click the Mark as Complete button.

If you don't need to take any notes or upload any files, you can also click the grayed out check mark to quickly mark as complete.

From My Tasks

From the My Tasks page, click on the task name or click the overflow menu (the three little dots) to the far right of the task row and select Edit from the dropdown menu.

Clicking either of these will open the task details pop-up where you can click the Mark as Complete button.

Once a task has been marked as complete, it is locked for continued editing. This is to preserve the audit trail, so users cannot retroactively complete tasks. If you marked the task as complete in error or need to add additional files to the task record, then you will need to open it for editing again by clicking the Mark as Incomplete button and following these exact same steps.
